Wing expansion for Recruiter Robin

Recruitment-Robin-logo

A recruitment expert who adapted to challenges during the pandemic, has increased her client base fourfold in the last six months.

Selina Rudzik, founder and owner of Newcastle-under-Lyme based, Recruitment Robin lost a vast majority of clients when the first lockdown happened in March 2020 and rapidly pivoted her business.

Utilising the time to plan ahead, Selina identified active industry sectors who required her recruitment services and that change in direction has now seen a consistent increase in growth for the Newcastle-under-Lyme based firm.

Selina said: “It was all pretty scary when the pandemic struck and I had to move quickly. I spent a lot of time working on the business and mapping out plans for the future.

“After September last year the work started to pay off and my client base increased hugely. I was helping those in the Education, Care, IT, Health and Safety, Engineering and Manufacturing industries to recruit the staff members they required, as well as strategicly helping them to plan for their future recruitment needs.

“I am still working very actively with clients in those sectors as well as others as local businesses start to gain some more confidence as we all aim to move forward, and at Recruitment Robin – we always aim to take people under our wing to find the right solutions.”

As well as working on her own business growth, Selina, aged 39, also provided extra support to those looking for advice last year.

“I decided to offer some help to others so I provided free templates and CV health checks where I could and also generally just helped with advice,” said Selina, who has more than a decade of experience in the recruitment sector.

“I fully understand how difficult the last year, or more, has been for a lot of people and I always aim to be helpful as much as I can.”

Since 2015, Recruitment Robin have been providing a fixed fee recruitment service supplying permanent and contract staff solutions to businesses in Staffordshire and beyond.

Recruitment Robin have a vast online coverage using popular online job boards to advertise vacancies, aiming to fill a vacancy within four weeks and approximately 90% of candidates remain after 12 months of employment.
