Mo Chaudry, entrepreneur and owner of Waterworld Group, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be recognised not only for our commercial success but also for our sustainability efforts.
“These awards are a testament to the hard work and passion of our entire team, and to the loyal guests who continue to support us year after year.”
The Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure award recognised Waterworld’s impressive growth, customer satisfaction and continued investment in expanding its facilities – including the recent enhancements to the UK’s No.1 indoor tropical aqua park which has welcomed over 14.5 million visitors to date and the development of its multi-attraction resort offering.
Chaudry added: “The Waterworld group doesn’t just consist of Waterworld Aqua Park but several other thriving, diverse and long-standing businesses including the M Club Spa and Fitness brand which are managed by a team of great people with clear vision, stronger leadership and relentless hard work.”
The Sustainability and Environment Award highlighted the company’s strong commitment to reducing its environmental impact.
Over the past year, Waterworld has implemented a range of green initiatives, including renewable energy usage, including its 1,700 solar panel installation across its estate as well as implementing unique technology such as invisible liquid pool covers which has helped save an average of 20% on gas bills in the winter months of 2024.
