Special T-shirts for Potters Arf charity challenge

Unitas-Graphix-Potters-Arf-2021

A team of runners and walkers in this years’ Potters ‘Arf marathon will be wearing specially designed t-shirts depicting the city’s street scape.

The six-strong Unitas Stoke-on-Trent team have been gifted running gear specially designed by local company Graphix

The team are raising funds for Cancer Research UK.

Unitas Director Wayne Booth will be joined by Emma Baskeyfield, Will Askey, Steve Cuthbertson, Darren Fernyhough, and Chris Morgan on Sunday 26 September in a bid to raise £500 for the charity.

Wayne said: “Fundraising has been going well and you’ll be able to spot our team on the day due to our distinctive team shirts. The shirt designs have been donated by Graphix who we’ve worked with on projects to give Unitas a distinctive image which represents Stoke-on-Trent’s rich industrial heritage and looks forward to the future. I get lots of positive comments about our office wall branding when I’m on video calls”

Steve Ward, Managing Director of Graphix, said; “When we heard that Unitas were running the Potters ‘Arf and raising money for a great cause, of course, we wanted to help. We’ve developed a strong partnership with Unitas, creating unique branding and artwork for their vehicles and offices.

“The designs show local landmarks in a bright and illustrative style, including bottle ovens, a symbol of the Potteries’ rich history, and the modern, bright façade of the Smithfield complex, in the city centre.”

Unitas carries out repairs and maintenance for more than 17,500 homes and approximately 600 public buildings across Stoke-on-Trent.

Graphix, based in Norton,  Stoke-on-Trent, has a team of graphic designers, web designers, printers and signage specialists, working with companies across the UK.
