Playscape is a BCB project bringing together artists, architects, builders and community members in the creation of an outdoors play installation. The team are using a technique called rammed earth to create stepping stones, platforms and mounds. They are also incorporating handmade ceramic tiles, decorated in blue and white to reflect the heritage of Spode.
BCB were awarded some funding for this project from the Stoke High Street Accelerator pilot which is funded by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG).
£237k was awarded to Stoke Town through Stoke-on-Trent City Council to be spent in the financial year 2024/25.
