Open Source Creative Days – Stoke High Street
SATURDAY 22 FEBRUARY
Open Source invites families and local communities into creative spaces to explore ideas and possibilities through clay and digital making.
A series of free Saturday events will take place with workshops and drop-in activities at each venue.
At the BCB Studio: Get hands-on with clay with talented Associate Artists
- Live demonstration of traditional bone china flowers with professional flower maker Rita Floyd
- Have a go at making your own clay flower and add it to a community garden
- Decorate tiles for a community tile project
At Framescape: Learn digital drawing techniques with a professional digital artist
- Live animals will be on-site for drawing reference, provided by the Unconventional Menagerie
- Learn some cartooning skills to translate live reference into digital art
The Open Source activities taking place on SATURDAY 22 FEBRUARY AT:
BCB Studio: Open from 10am to 4pm, 118 & 124 Church Street, ST4 1BU
Framescape: Open from 11am to 3pm, The Bank, 1 Campbell Place, ST4 1NH
The events have been funded as part of the Stoke High Street Accelerator Project in association with Stoke-on-Trent City Council and the UK Government.
