New Appointment sees growing financial advisory firm expand into Cambridgeshire

A finance firm are on track to serve the whole of the UK following the appointment of a new fully qualified financial advisor.

Evergreen Financial Planning was formed following the merger of two separate companies owned by North Staffordshire based Nathan Waldron and Ryan Nobbs, of Essex in November 2023 and provides advice on a range of financial areas, including retirement planning, protection, investments and estate planning.

Within six months financial advisor Peter Arundell, para-planner Danielle Hunter and personal assistants Vikki Hogg and Clare Arundell joined the team, which helped the brand to make headway in Scotland, the Midlands and East London – including in Staffordshire, Cheshire, Essex, Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

Now Experienced business professional Tommy Hong has joined Evergreen Financial Planning and will service customers in Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas.

“Being part of the Evergreen team has been exciting,” says Tommy, whose career background includes working as a consultant in investment banking, and alternative investments, plus holding previous directorships.

“I am delighted to be working with residents in Cambridgeshire and introducing more people to the Evergreen Financial Planning brand plus at the same time contributing further and advancing the firm’s continued growth throughout the UK.”

Ryan Nobbs said: “Tommy has a wealth of experience not just in business, but with the financial industry, so we were delighted when he decided to join us. He has been making some amazing progress and has become a big part of our team as we continue to grow the business and expand into more areas of the UK. We are excited for the future and in the coming months we will also be welcoming more fully qualified advisors.”

Before stepping into his current role, Tommy built on his financial and technical foundation by obtaining industry-recognised qualifications from the Chartered Insurance Institute and completing training through the M&G Wealth Advice Academy Programme.

Recognising the company’s vision and growth plans, he chose to collaborate with Evergreen as the ideal place to advance his career.

“I am really excited to be covering the Cambridgeshire area, which I know very well, as the firm continues to expand throughout the country,” adds Tommy.

“I’ve always had an entrepreneurial mindset and after getting to know Ryan and Nathan, and seeing how they operate, I felt it was a good decision to join them as I feel we can achieve more by working together towards a shared vision.”

Evergreen Financial Planning are a partner of M&G Wealth Advice.
