LSGK Accountants Ltd to sponsor Leek Rugby Club

Leek accountancy firm LSGK Accountants Ltd have become the latest local business to sponsor Leek Rugby Club.

LSGK Accountants Ltd, formerly known as Leslie SG Knott & Co Ltd started trading in Leek in 1960 and moved to its present offices in Talbot Street around 1969. It is now a part of the Growth 4 Businesses group which has offices in Cannock, Codsall and Stoke-on-Trent.

LSGK director, Jed Eatough, said: “Like the club, we have a great history in the area and I am delighted to get involved in supporting Leek Rugby Club through sponsorship. The club is a great asset and source of pride to the town and has a positive affect on the lives of its many players, supporters and volunteers.”

Leek RUFC Chairman, Mark Hardern, added: “Many people are probably not aware that we have nineteen teams for men, ladies and juniors, catering for all abilities. We are grateful to Jed and all at LSGK Accountants for their support and sponsorship. At our level we need to keep an eye on spending, so any extra commercial income such as this makes a real difference.”
