Innov8 HR Expands into the North West

Rochelle-Murinas-Innov8

A Staffordshire Human Resources Consultancy firm has acquired another HR company as part of ongoing expansion plans.

Stoke-on-Trent based Innov8 Human Resources Limited, owned and run by Newcastle businesswoman Rochelle Murinas, has taken over Biddulph company Diamic Edge Limited.

The firm specialises in all aspects of HR related services; including legal compliance, recruitment and selection, organisational development, performance, disciplinary and grievance procedures. The company has been busy following the COVID-19 outbreak, helping its clients navigate the rapidly changing legal landscape and the associated challenges.

The acquisition will help grow Innov8 HR’s market share by expanding their client base into the Manchester and Cheshire areas. The company already has a strong Staffordshire presence.

Diamic Edge was owned by Diane Sokolyk, who has decided she is ready to retire from full-time working; however, she will continue to work with Rochelle on a consultancy basis for the next few months. The two businesswomen met through networking and have worked together very successfully on a number of projects with their clients.

Rochelle says she is delighted with the move: “Diane and I have known each other for some time and work very well together. We have the same mindset and work in very similar ways. Last year we appointed another HR Consultant and Diane knew I was very keen to continue expanding the business. She explained that she was ready to take a step-back but wanted to ensure her clients, who are predominantly in the north west, continued to receive an excellent service.”

Rochelle added: “The acquisition was too good an opportunity to miss. It means I can continue with my expansion plans and Diane can start to think about her retirement, knowing that her clients will be looked after in the future. I’m delighted and I am really looking forward to supporting our new clients.”

Diane says: “Since founding Diamic Edge I’ve very much focused on supporting small to medium enterprises. I’ve always worked under the proviso that if a company gives me a seat at the table we can plan together for the benefit of the business and employees alike. Rochelle and I share these same values, so I knew this was the right company to take care of my clients.

“I’ve had a fantastic career doing some amazing jobs and have loved every minute of working with my own clients but now’s the time to take a step back so I can spend more time with my husband and my family. I’ll still be supporting Rochelle and I know going forward my clients will be in very safe hands, which is hugely important to me.”
