Exciting opportunities for businesses to be part of a Football Club which is at the heart of the community
Port Vale Football Club have announced a host of opportunities for local businesses to join them as they prepare for their 150th anniversary celebrations.
A season of celebration will be taking place in 2025/26 and the club – which has a prime focus on supporting local communities – will be hosting a series of brand new events and activities, including a dedicated 150th anniversary fixture at Vale Park and a Hall of Fame dinner.
The series of planned activities will also reflect the club’s history from becoming founding members of the Football League Second Division, to becoming the only side to defeat all other 91 professional English clubs in competitive league fixtures.
The club are currently sitting in a strong position in the EFL League Two and vying for promotion.

Port Vale Chief Executive Matt Hancock said: “Port Vale has a very proud history and we have a great story to share as we look ahead to an exciting future.
“As well as the work we do on the pitch, we also have a strong community involvement in which we provide support and various activities through the Port Vale Foundation who do amazing work off the pitch.”
Carol Shanahan OBE (main image), Port Vale Chair and Co-Owner, said: “Kevin and I moved our business to Burslem 11 years ago and fell in love with a community that had a football club at the very heart of it. We bought the club in 2019 because we fell in love with Port Vale.
“Next season promises to be a very special one for so many reasons and we are really excited to welcome more organisations to join us as we not only mark the club’s 150th anniversary celebrations, but for the future years to come.”
The Club are welcoming businesses to associate themselves with the season of celebration by attending a special launch event at Vale Park on Tuesday 11 February, from 8:30am to learn more about the new opportunities to work with them.
Some of which include headline of the 150th anniversary season partner, website and App digital partner, Valiants Suite sponsorship, Hall of Fame Awards and the 150th anniversary game.
