Castle Classics set to return to Newcastle-under-Lyme

Castle Classics – the Classic and Retro Vehicle Show – is set to return to Newcastle-under-Lyme following the success of last year’s event.

Taking place on Saturday, 15th March 2025, the event – hosted by Newcastle-under-Lyme BID and The Red Haired Stokie – brings another huge showcase of vehicles to the town with the Ironmarket and High Street.

Visitors can expect a stunning collection of classic and retro vehicles from the early 1900s to the early 2000s.

Exhibitors will be judged in five categories, Best in Show, Show & Shine, Most Unique, Best Classic and Best Retro sponsored by Newcastle-under-Lyme business Kwik Fit, with each winner receiving a £100 voucher.

Charlie Machin, Projects & Marketing Executive, said: “We’re looking forward to kicking off events in 2025 by hosting Castle Classics again. Our first event in October was a fantastic success and we received so much positive feedback. We can’t wait to welcome back existing exhibitors and welcome new faces for March’s event.  Exhibitor spaces did sell out on the last event so we urge anyone wanting to attend books up to avoid disappointment.”

Jenna, The Red Haired Stokie, who has played a pivotal role in helping to bring the event to realisation added: “Castle Classics was a fantastic event that brought so much life and vibrancy to Newcastle town centre. With the hard-standing space, it’s the perfect venue for all types of classic vehicles, providing a safe and accessible environment for owners to showcase their pride and joy.

“The event is free to all visitors and accessible for everyone, allowing people of all ages to come together, enjoy the displays, and discover everything the town centre has to offer.

“Events like this are key to increasing footfall for local shops, cafes, and businesses, bringing people back into the town and reminding locals of what’s on their doorstep. We’re really excited about the success of Castle Classics and are looking to grow it further this year, turning it into a staple in the local calendar – something everyone can look forward to each year, attracting visitors from both inside and outside the area.”
