FINANCIAL JARGON BUSTER WITH NATHAN

Nathan-Waldron-Waldron-and-Co

A North Staffordshire wealth management specialist is helping to make the finance sector easier to understand by busting through  ‘jargon’ to provide a top class service to a wide range of customers.

Nathan Waldron, who launched Waldron & Co Financial Planning in May 2021, after a lengthy career in banking, was adamant that education in his field of work was key in helping to make financial advice available to as many people as possible.

With a wide understanding of the industry and more than 15 years of experience, Nathan’s mission to help others now sees him looking to provide free drop in sessions to the public in 2023.

“One of the things I will be introducing are the different ways local residents can come along either face to face or join me online and have a friendly one-to-one chat about finance, with an initial focus on pensions,” says Nathan.

“By providing the sessions I will bust through any jargon and will aim to again provide another accessible way to learn more.”

Nathan, of Stone provides services all over Staffordshire and soon to be expanding into Cheshire, says being able to cut through jargon and help to educate others is one of the reasons his business has grown at speed in the last 12 months.

“When I started out on my own it was in the midst of the pandemic and there were a lot of things happening which made people question if they had all the right things in place,” Nathan said.

“I, myself, had to factor in a lot of things with starting my own business and having a young family, but I knew I wanted to go ahead with everything because what I have always been keen to do is to ensure that financial advice is seen to be accessible to everyone – it’s not just for those with huge amounts of money.

“There are a lot of myths surrounding finance and throughout my career I have been able to develop a way to share my knowledge in a way which everyone can understand.

“I have come across many people since starting my business, who may have not considered seeking advice before because they didn’t think it was for them, but once we get talking it soon becomes apparent it is not the mine field some may think.

“Finance should not be something to ignore – now – or in the future, and with uncertainty due to the current climate, there are options to look into.”

Nathan-waldronWaldron & Co are a partner of M&G Wealth Advice with products accessed from Prudential and other providers. The company is also supported by M&G plc – who have been providing financial security for more than 170 years.
