Giving back CyberKiln providing endless opportunities

Chris-Daniels-Luke-Padbury-Cyberkiln
Award-winning CyberKiln have not only been enjoying a mammoth year following further expansion, but have also pledged their support towards future local employment.

The Stoke-on-Trent software company, who celebrated their third birthday in June, recently welcomed senior software developer Luke Padbury to the team enabling software and App development to become a key service.

Luke joins Managing Director Chris Daniels, who founded the business in 2019, Technical Director Luke Malpass and Personal Assistant and Junior Web Developer Natalie Snape.

In recent months, CyberKiln took the pledge to become an Employer of the Future – an initiative by Stoke-On-Trent City Council, Stoke-on-Trent Local Enterprise Partnership, Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce and Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Carers Hub ‘To support young people to take the first step into the world of work and thrive.’

Luke said: “I have known of CyberKiln for a while now and have watched how the company has been growing, so for me to join the team at such an exciting time in the company’s growth, is something I am really passionate about.

“Everyone is great to work with and I love being able to create great quality results for businesses, whether start-ups or more established organisations, to enhance their digital requirements.”

Chris added: “The business has been growing at quite a rapid pace in the last 12 months and it was the perfect time to bring someone of Luke’s experience and talent in to work with us.

“Luke has been great in assisting with bespoke web and software development and has already made great progress with existing client software and app development. We are thrilled he decided to join us.”

Chris adds: “CyberKiln has and always will be about providing opportunities to others and offering support where we can.

“Our future plans are to recruit more full-time staff who share the same values and ethos as we do and we want to support our local area even more with such opportunities as we continue to grow.”

In their first year of trading CyberKiln, who moved into new offices based at Staffordshire University’s Enterprise Centre last year, received recognition for Entrepreneurial Spirit in the Newcastle-under-Lyme Business Boost Awards – in 2021 the company were winners of the Borough Business Award. This year saw Chris’ and CyberKiln as finalists in the Young Professional of the Year
and Start-Up of the Year categories in The Sentinel Business Awards 2022.
To add into a busy schedule CyberKiln hosted a 24-hour charity event in June where staff and friends raised £1,200 for local children’s charity, The Peter Pan Centre. The charity event is an annual occasion where CyberKiln dedicates itself to raising money in order to support local charities.
