Critchlow Doubles Team and branches out to new locations

Critchlow-Estate-Agency-May-2022

An Estate Agency – which prides itself on providing excellent customer service – has further expanded within two years of the Stoke-on-Trent business launching.

Critchlow Estate Agents surpassed all targets in the first year of trading when selling just under 200 houses throughout Staffordshire. Less than twelve months later, a further 425 residential properties have been sold in the same area, and the green Critchlow signs can now also be seen across Cheshire – where 35 houses have been sold in the last six months.

To compliment the growth a further two more team members have joined founder Martin Critchlow and Sales Manager Lee Dono in the company. Alison Proudfoot took charge as Lettings Manager in April, and recently Lauren Whitehouse joined as Administrator and Credit Control.

“The last couple of years have been a bit of a whirlwind and I am really happy to be working with a great team,” said Martin.

“All of us have a wealth of experience in the industry – spanning more than 45-years between us. Following Lee’s appointment in 2021, we were able to plan ahead for our next stage of the business, which was to develop the lettings side and now we have Alison who is an excellent Lettings Manager.”

Martin added: “We all have great knowledge of Staffordshire and Cheshire and Alison is very experienced with lettings whether working with experienced or new landlords. Also, introducing Lauren to the team is another big help for everything we are doing.”

Fifty plus Staffordshire lettings have been arranged via the Critchlow team in the past few months plus another five in Cheshire.

Alison adds: “Critchlow Estate Agents just keep going from strength to strength and have done amazing in their first two years. I love the whole ethos of the business and the importance of customer relations which is there throughout.

“Critchlow have been providing services throughout the Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stone areas since the start and I am so excited to now be a part of the team as we continue to expand into other regions like Cheshire where properties have already been sold and let in Shavington, Nantwich, Congleton and Crewe.”

The agency operates on a fixed fee basis for completion of all Sales with the same service also for Lettings.

Martin said: “Charging a fixed fee has always been important to me and the business, and we have always found this a great way to work with our clients, so we are continuing to offer this on all lettings too.”
