Graphix pull out all the stops to ensure UK companies and organisations get social-distancing signage

A creative agency who responded quickly to a national need for coronavirus and social-distancing signage has supported around 100 companies and organisations.

Graphix, based in Norton, Stoke-on-Trent, has worked across almost every sector from schools to transportation companies, film makers to financial services.

“There’s been a huge demand from companies needing to get back to work after lockdown and we were ideally placed to meet it as we have graphic designers, signage specialists and a printing plant, all on the same site,” said Steve Ward, Managing Director of Graphix.

“A national shortage of the flooring laminate material used for the social-distancing spacing signs we now see on floors has caused a headache for some but we were able to secure huge stocks. This has led to us working with a major local council to support many of their services.”

Graphix created a range of products, including Perspex screens, floor markings, social-distancing barriers, stickers and signs.

Customers have ranged from local companies such as Umesh Samani Specialist Cars, Rydale Roofing, SAS Water and Dourish and Day Estate Agents to London theatres, academy schools and Arriva TrainCare. Graphix is the official print and signage supplier to Stoke City FC and they have also supplied the local Football League Club with a range of coronavirus warning and informing materials.

Steve added: “I’m incredibly proud of my team for pulling out all the stops to complete so many jobs in double quick time. It has been all hands to the pump, but it is so important that companies and the public sector have the right signage in place if we are going to restore confidence, keep us all safe and get people out of lockdown again. That is vital to then UK economy.”
