Walk Talk Action team to tackle ambitious 94-Mile Staffordshire Way Challenge for mental health
Walking will commence at 8am daily, with an expected average of covering one mile per hour.
Teri and Jennifer are hoping for a pace of at least 3 to 3.5 mph with some days expected to involve up to 12 hours of walking across challenging terrain and steep climb.
Teri Bryce, Founder of Walk Talk Action, said: “The Staffordshire Way challenge is a a goal Jennifer set – which compliments our ethos of stepping out of your comfort zone, goal setting and achieving.
“It is also about achieving something you never thought possible and overcoming obstacles in life.”
Teri added: “We are aiming for a steady pace of 3 to 3.5 mph to keep our walking days manageable, though we know some stretches could see us on our feet for 12 hours. We’d just love people to get involved—whether you can walk a mile with us, help at a checkpoint, or simply cheer from the side of the road, it would be amazing.”
All funds raised will go directly toward enabling Walk Talk Action to continue its mission of helping people take positive steps toward better mental health through nature walks and community programmes.
