B.Arts Scratch Night in Stoke-on-Trent
B.ARTS and The ArtsHill Performers are hosting Scratch Night taking place on
Friday 13 th March 2026 at 7pm in our building at B.ARTS, 72 Hartshill Road,
Stoke on Trent, ST4 7RB.
B.ARTS Scratch Night will be hosted by B.ARTS volunteer performer group –
The ArtsHill Performers. They will be performing a mixture of theatre, stand-up
comedy, spoken word, poetry, readings and sketches/skits. On the evening we
will also be joined by volunteer performers from across Staffordshire and Stoke
on Trent who want to come and perform, and the donations from the ‘pay as
you feel’ ticket model will be split amongst these volunteer performers.

B.ARTS have also commissioned three brand new or work in progress pieces to be
presented for the first time on the evening.
Applicants applied, were marked against a set of criteria and 3 were awarded £250 to work on a brand new piece of work or something that is in progress.
Performers include stand-up comics, poets, spoken word artists, theatre makers, video makers, singers and more. Audience members can donate however much they feel towards their ticket price.
Kath Stanway, B.ARTS Co-Artistic Director said: “We are really excited to be hosting Scratch Night this month. The ArtsHill Performers have been part of the commissioning and curating process and also have brand new pieces of work to perform themselves. We have loads of interesting performers from across Stoke on Trent, and we have been able to award 3 micro commissions all bringing something unique to the event.
“We look forward to the return of some performers who haven’t been able to join
us for a while, and we have some brand new performers joining us who have
never performed at B.ARTS before.”
