Smithfield Summer set for August holidays
Smithfield Summer is a brand new month-long series of events and activities which will be taking place in August.
As part of a month-long series of events and activities the Smithfield Urban Beach will be reinstated.
All events and activities will take place in the Smithfield public realm area and at the Urban Beach.
Smithfield Summer events will include:
Saturday 2 August – Launch of Smithfield Summer – local artist Ash Wall will be performing
Saturday 9 August – Children’s activities
Saturday 16 August – Kite Flying
Friday 22 and Saturday 23 August – Big Feast and VOLO with Appetite
Saturday 30 August – Big Summer BBQ – sponsored by Stoke-on-Trent BID
