Creative Workshops taking place at Spode in June
Free creative workshops are taking place at Spode Works throughout June with ACAVA studios.
On Friday 13 June – Embroidery with Nadine Wilde will take place between 1pm – 4pm and will explore Spode’s history, local ecology and are part of the Butterfly Bush Effect by ACAVA and Spode Museum.
On Friday 27 June – Where the Buddleia Grows with Nadine Wilde will invite artists and members of the public to take part in exploring wild resilience of industrial nature.
No experience is necessary and workshop sessions are free.

This workshops are part of a series which will take place as part of the Butterfly Bush Workshops with ACAVA studios. The works created will focus on the Spode site including its current developments including the industrialised landscape and effect on the localised eco-system.
The Butterfly Bush Effect project has received support from Stoke High Street Accelerator pilot, which is funded by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG).
£237k was awarded to Stoke Town through Stoke-on-Trent City Council to be spent in the financial year 2024/25.
