1st Time Clean Launch New Service

A Stoke-on-Trent contract cleaning company has launched a new service aimed at deep cleaning and sanitising premises.

Burslem based 1st Time Clean were due to launch the new system in the summer but have brought it forward in response to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The company which employs thirty people has contracts across the UK and says they’ve had more enquiries since the COVID-19 outbreak. The new system involves an encapsulation process to sanitise an area to help with infection control.

The family run firm is owned by 44-year-old Clint Parr, who took it over from his father five years ago. He said: “We were always planning to launch this service later in the year but since the Coronavirus outbreak we have been asked more and more about deep cleans so we’ve decided to bring it forward in response.

“The system involves an electronic back-pack sprayer with a specialist disinfectant. When it’s in action the droplets hit a surface and through electrostatics they create an even spread of chemicals over and around it.

“I think now more than ever because of the severity of the situation businesses are even more aware of the need for hygiene and cleanliness. We’ve already seen that from the amount of calls we’ve received.

“In response we’re offering a 24 hour call out service for deep cleans, sanitisation and decontamination of any premises in any industry.”

1st Time Clean moved into office premises off Moorland Road last year to coincide with the company’s 21st birthday. Clint’s wife Mel has also recently joined the growing company. They specialise in all aspects of contract cleaning, from offices and warehouse, to doctors’ surgeries and schools to high level dust extraction in factories that produce lots of dust like wood workshops.

They also use an ATP machine which tests for bacteria in the workplace.
