12-month FREE membership with SING for a STAFFORDSHIRE start-up business

Start-up business owners in Staffordshire are being asked to come forward for an exciting opportunity – which is being provided by an independent business network.

Staffordshire Independent Networking Group (SING) are inviting business owners to come forward for the opportunity of a free membership at their informal networking group.

The ‘Andy Dick Memorial Award’ – in recognition of the networks late long serving member – will provide a 12-month membership, which will include weekly face to face meetings at Stone Golf Club, a business profile on the groups own dedicated website – www.sing4business.co.uk –  plus training opportunities – all aimed for business growth.

Stephen Silk, who chairs the meetings at SING, said: “Andy did so much for our networking group some twelve years ago. He always wanted to help business start-ups and we want to honour not only his memory but the unconditional support which he gave.

“This award is something we have never done before in the 18 years SING has been going. We all know ourselves how tough it can be to start your own business and it feels right to do this in Andy’s memory as he helped so many of our current and previous members.

“We would like to provide a business – which has been trading for less than 3 years – the opportunity to access our support and meet other businesses for an initial 12-month free membership.

“It is also a very exciting time to be joining us because we have some great plans for our members in 2023.”

The not-for-profit group welcomed various guest speakers in 2022, with more planned for the coming months. Plans to take SING on the road are also underway with the first outing taking place on Thursday 9 February, at the Stoke Business Show, which is being organised by Hashtag Events, at the Bet 365 Stadium.

“The Stoke Business Show will be the perfect opportunity to find out more about us and meet our members who will be there on the day,” says Stephen.

“This will be the first of many outings we will be doing in the region to meet more fantastic local businesses and we are really looking forward to seeing everyone. We will be at the Stoke Business Show all day from 10am – 3pm.”
